In 2005, the calcium carbonate production line of Shanghai Calcium Carbonate Factory Limited Company became the first to have passed State Food and Drug Administration’s GMP certification and maintained the qualification to the present. It’s the first enterprise with pharmaceutical-grade calcium carbonate production license in China. It has also meanwhile passed ISO22000 food safety management system certification. In order to further improve product quality, and realize energy conservation and emission reduction, our company has newly set up a high-cleanliness GMP workshop, and taken advantage of more advanced, automated production line equipment, really realizing programmed control of production, pipelining of transportation, automation of testing, and mechanization of packaging, effectively ensuring the product quality. Particularly, our Swiss MEARZ clean, energy-saving shaft kiln, full-automatic plate-and-frame filter press, high-efficient drier, high-sensitivity metal detector, material conveying system, and DCS control and automatic packaging unit are all advanced equipment at home and abroad. This production line’s annual production capacity reaches 20,000 tons. The whole workshop implements all kinds of verification and daily monitoring in strict accordance with the regulations, which effectively ensures that the products produced by the production line are stable, uniform and controllable.
